Skelton Court is situated in Cleveland, North Yorkshire. Our care home is now welcoming new residents for inclusive permanent and respite care in a safe, secure and welcoming environment. Skelton Court is set in a beautiful market town that benefits from peaceful surroundings as well as being close to major shops and amenities.
Permanent and Respite care in a safe and secure environment
Skelton Court in Cleveland, North Yorkshire is now open. The care home offers luxurious open social areas, stylish décor and secure gardens and grounds that are open to all guests and residents. Every one of Skelton Court's 65 bedrooms has en-suite facilities, allowing residents to be independent but at the same time supporting their needs through our 24/7 care. Skelton Court staff deliver person-centred care in a dignified way. We believe that no one should come into our home unless we are going to be able to make their lives better, make their days easier and support them in leading the life they choose to lead.

Situated close to the picturesque coastal town of Saltburn-by-the-sea, Skelton Court care home is set in a beautiful market town that benefits from peaceful surroundings and has access to an excellent road network making it convenient for loved ones to visit.
Care Home Fees
At Skelton Court we know that residents want certainty and security when moving into a new home. Care home fees in England can vary substantially from provider to provider and from location to location. Understanding care home funding and accessing the right type of funding assistance can seem like a daunting task. It is usual for residents in care homes to contribute to the cost of their own care. Some people have the resources to pay for their care in full, whilst others will make means-tested contributions. Skelton Court places great importance on the comfort, well-being and safety of all our residents. All of our new residents are welcomed with a tailored, individual care plan, covering everything from their daily medication requirements to the food and hobbies they enjoy most. This care plan is continuously updated throughout their time living at Skelton Court.
Landscaped Gardens
Our gardens are landscaped and designed to be accessible for all, with flat even surfaces and raised beds to promote independence and somewhere to sit and watch the world go by. Our garden areas have been thoughtfully planned to encourage everyone to enjoy the outdoors.
Communal Lounges
There are a selection of lounge spaces and dining rooms on each floor, allowing residents freedom of choice and the independence to move around the building as they please.
Bar
The bar area is very popular and the perfect place for residents and visitors to while away some time while enjoying a favourite tipple. The bar is comfortable and relaxing with a good selection of drinks and snacks which can be enjoyed inside and also on the outside patio during beautiful summer days.
Hair & Beauty Salon
The hair and beauty salon offers many pampering options with its experienced hairdressers and beauticians. The salon, for both male and female residents, allows peace of mind that all residents can look and feel great without having to leave the care home.
Residential Care Services
Our colleagues are equipped with the latest technology enabling them to view and update care records instantly; letting them to devote more of their time to listen and respond to residents' needs.
Our friendly, well-trained carers understand that every individual has different requirements, therefore we take the extra time to get to know everyone's likes, dislikes, passions and hobbies.
In doing this we can support and care for individuals in the best and most comfortable way. We are also able to accommodate those looking for short-term, respite stays (subject to availability).
Dementia Care
Living with dementia can be a very difficult and lonely experience; our luxury care home provides the care and support needed to ensure it doesn't have to be that way.
All colleagues undergo training courses to provide them with insight into the various forms of dementia and the complexities that can sometimes go along with it.
Residents living with dementia receive the patience, empathy and dignity they require in order to sustain their overall well-being.
Respite Care
Skelton Court's luxurious care home offers short-term respite stays for older people who might not want or need to move in permanently, yet who need some extra help from time to time. Whether they are recovering from surgery or illness, or want to give their family carer a break, short stays can be organised and then repeated as often as they are required.
Any resident on a short break can take part in all daily activities and will receive the same high quality of care that full-time residents enjoy. A short break can also be an opportunity to trial the wonderful facilities we have on offer before deciding to make the move permanent.
